A brief update of comings and goings. | |
| Just
in case you get lost with all the comings and goings, a brief
explanation.

Dean
and Helen Potter went out to Nepal on the 14th February with one new
bicycle and lots of equipment. The four went trekking. (see
Dean's report). Helen returned (some of us have to work) on the
28th February. Helen had a whale of a time and wants to go again.
Tim Stocks and Nick Gray flew to Kathmandu on the 27th February, with two bicycles and a lot of equipment. And four went trekking (see Snugpack equipment review). Richard Scriven flew out to Kathmandu on the 11th March with one bicycle and the remains of the equipment. If you have been paying attention, that makes six bicycles and six people. The two original bikes have been cannibalised to make one good bike. So that's five bikes and six people. Well Dean will be going by motor transport ( sensible girl). The five will cycle to Lhasa where Richard Scriven leaves the expedition to return to work at Thames Water. Mike |
