| OVERALL COMMENTS: Gear has performed well and
made our life significantly more tolerable in times of bad weather. We
are delighted with all our equipment and hope that these comments will
help for future revisions. Adrenaline Jacket and Dryflo
are firm favourites.
Andrew’s comments:
Dryflo T-Shirt Long sleeve
Application:
Cycling in all weather hot and cold.
In Use: Superb, good variation in warmth using the zip,
also good sun protection.
Adrenaline Jacket
Application: Cycling: nearly all the time. Protection
from rain, wind and cold.
(tested from -1 degree C
to +20 degree C)
In Use: Very good material, water repellent coating
initially superb, it has deteriorated very slightly,
comfortable and pleasant on the skin in cold and hot
conditions even with short sleeve t-shirt. Copes very well
with extremes of temperature caused by climbing long steep
hills and sweating and then seconds later descending at high
speed with induced wind chill.
Lightflight Overtrousers
Application: Heavy rain and snow (we expect to use them
in very cold temperatures). I even wore them on their own to
dinner one evening!!
In Use: Cut has been good for cycling and so far have
had no problems with interference with the chain (this was
initially a concern). Waterproofness has been higher than
expected. Small pack size excellent for cycle touring.

DryFlo Pants
Application: ALWAYS! Cycling and Evenings
In Use: I have essentially used one pair for 40 days and
have found them to be exceptional - hard wearing - no serious
signs of wear. Washing every evening - and they are always dry by
the morning. They are comfortable.
DryFlo Long Sleeve
Application: Cycling almost every day - All weathers -
from cold (-1 degree C) to hot (+25 degrees C).
In Use: Always comfortable - even when worn several
days on the trot without washing. I usually wash every day -
slight signs of wear - in terms of pulling of fibres. The most
amazing thing about this T-Shirt is how it gets clean - even
with my limited washing skill it turns up really white - the
dirt seems to drop off! Several times other people have
commented! In comparison, Andrew’s one cotton T-shirt - is
worn infrequently, picks up the dirt, feels nasty and looks
disgusting.
Adrenaline Jacket
Application: Cycling in cold wet weather.
In Use: Although I do not wear this as much as Andrew I
have been very impressed. In torrential rain for hours at a
time and in snow it has kept the water out - even through the
pocket and chest zip - for such a lightweight jacket the
performance is fantastic. It transmits moisture really well
and is great for wind protection - best feature is that it is
so much smaller than a full waterproof - We await to see how
it will perform in Turkish winter and the Himalayas!!
Parapant Cotton Trouser
Application: Cycling in variable temperatures -over
cycling shorts and dryflo pants.
In Use: Although an unusual cycling choice I really find
the cotton trousers comfortable for cycling. They dry quickly and
keep the wind off.
MANY THANKS FROM BOTH OF US - THIS IS SUPERB EQUIPMENT.
